Coconut Oil based shampoo or the shampoo that you have selected from our extensive A la carte menu. Shampoo is massaged thoroughly into your pets hair coat down to the skin to help remove all the debris, dirt, dander, and odor. The anal glands are expressed while in the tub, in order to make sure no residue is left behind. The shampoo is rinsed out completely. We follow with a super silky coat conditioner that helps to greatly reduce mats and tangles, leaving the coat feeling soft and light. Once the conditioner is rinsed, we apply a mist of leave in conditioner to help protect the coat and repel dirt.
Next we hand dry your pets coat using cool, compressed air to loosen the water, the remaining dead hair from the coat, and relaxing some of the accumulated mats and tangles. To thoroughly dry and fluff the coat, we offer room temperature, private suite drying with surround air flow in order to make your pet as comfortable as possible. We NEVER use high temperature air that might burn or scold your pet. Bichons and Poodles are always hand dried for the ultimate fluffy finish.
Cassie follows with a thorough brush out, working gently to remove any mats, tangles, and loose hair. Spending extra time as needed to ensure more hair stays at the grooming facility and less in your home.
Ears are cleaned and plucked as necessary. If an infection is noted by Cassie, the doctor on staff is notified and treatment can be started with your permission. Nails are trimmed and filed, always leaving the possibility open for a little added color. Feet are trimmed and the pads are shaved. Sanitary trims also allow the pets personal places to be kept free and clear of any debris.
Cassie will finish by styling your pets coat, per your personal consultation at drop off, to breed specific standards modified to each owners specifications. Each pet will receive a decorative bandana or bow.
While your pet is at the grooming facility they will enjoy a mid day walk in our spacious outdoor exercise area.
